P.O.P For The New Year

I am so excited for 2015. The year of Freedom, Deliverance, Victory and Manifestations!
Plus so much more.  I encourage you to go to www.myvcc.com and listen to the New Years Eve prophetic message  as well as check out Kenneth Copeland's prophetic word for 2015.  Both will fire you up for what God has in store for the year ahead :)

However, God has also spoken to us about the importance of being prepared, obedient and positioned (P.O.P) for the year to come. Get ready because this year is going to pop like popcorn. We need to be P.O.P ready.  The way we P.O.P  is to put Jesus first!

Matthew 6:33 Amplified Version says...
But seek ([a]aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness ([b]His way of doing and being right), and then all these things [c]taken together will be given you besides.

So as we can see putting God first is  the only way to P.O.P.   2015 promises so many good things., Putting God and His Ways first will bring, "all these things taken together will be given you besides."

The "First Fruits Principal"

Leviticus 23:10 Amplified Version. Tell the Israelites, When you have come into the land I give you and reap its harvest, you shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest.

Now we may not have literally entered into new physical land but, we have come into a new year.
A year which does contains a huge harvest.  We should honor the First Fruits Principal for 2015.

What is God asking us to put FIRST this year?  The First Fruits of our life.  Our time, talent, tithe, relationship, devotions, prayer etc... We all know what Jesus is personally asking of us.

First Fruits in Hebrew is 'bikkurim' and it literally means "promise to come".  Here is a Hallelujah moment for all of us -  God NEVER  breaks His promise! Praise the Lord, there is a promise to come for us in 2015! That is why we need to P.O.P . God wants us to succeed. Our best days are yet to come :)

Ephesians 3:20 Amplified Version  Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the [action of His] power that is at work within us, is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams]—

The glorious part of the First Fruits Principal is this, what we sow we will indeed reap! When we sow  first fruits we are planting seed into the harvest.  God is giving us the opportunity to sow into our future, our destiny, our families, ministries, nation and create a greater harvest! Glory!

Galatians 6:9 King James Version And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

First Fruits is not for God. First Fruits is for us :) We need to ask ourselves, What do I want to accomplish in Christ this year? What promises am I believing for? What harvest do I want to pull in?  Jesus has it. In-fact his desire for us this year are much bigger than what we are thinking.

Jesus has given us a  P.O.P  that is a sure win.  Let's start out our year by honoring the First Fruits  Principal and then we can leave the rest to HIM!

Glory Be To God :)
Shalom,
